Some facts on the Health care bill passed by the House. There is no question that intentions are to do away with the cost of elderly care by encouraging seniors to end their life. It shows members do not read the bills since many of them would be included in this requirement, IF they put themselves into this system. No wonder the Senate voted not to require they be enrolled in the gov. health care…

Health plan provision demands ‘end-of-life’ counseling

The version of President Obama’s universal health care plan that is pending in the U.S. House would require end-of-life counseling for seniors, and the former lieutenant governor for the state of New York is warning people to protect their parents read more…

We need reform, but this is not what we signed up for. Logical/Simple reform that our Congress could read would be a 1st step.

How about a new computer system to track, medicare and medicaid claims, something along the lines of transaction based tracking of credit cards. Red flags would sound if a doctor tried to claim the same test for the same patient more than once, or if more than four claims were submitted for the same patient in one day. Catching the fraud would probably make these two programs solvent, good start?

How about providing a private insurance policy for those who qualify by income, thus keeping gov. out of our health care, while providing service for those who cannot afford it and reducing the cost of uninsured emergency room visits and unpaid hosp. bills?

We spend a fortune on gov. bureaucracy instead of demanding they be accountable for following best practices. We expect more restraint from a bakery than we do from our government. I say NO MORE…

  1. This is not change I can believe in. This is thug tactics at it’s worst. The federal government has NO business in when my parents should die. That is really up to them, is it not.

And if people no longer have the ability to make their own choices, is this not then a violation of the First Amendment?

Are we now moving from Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness to the right to life so long as you are under a certain age? Is this really the direction in which we want to go?
